Ciarra Black is a Brooklyn based music producer, sound artist and DJ. In 2023 Ciarra was a music resident at esteemed New York arts institution Pioneer Works, presenting an "interactive soundscape" during open studios as well as teaching a workshop on creating spatial sound productions for headphones. While previously living part-time in Berlin, Ciarra toured Europe extensively and was able to test her work on state of the art sound systems. These experiences gave new visions to her work in the fields of immersive sound, sound design, and club music.

Ciarra has performed at many notable venues and festivals throughout North America, Europe and beyond, including MoMa PS1 (New York), Berghain (Berlin), Electrowerkz (London), Sound of Stockholm Festival (SE), Unsound Dislocation Festival in Yerevan, Armenia, and Times Square, NYC.

In addition to her solo work, Ciarra  also runs her own record label Pendulum Recordings and is 1/2 of the music duo Carbon 96 with Zoë Mc Pherson.
